2026 is the 100th anniversary of Blithewold being named an Arboretum. To honor that designation the Newport Photo Guild celebrates with Expressions of Nature.

Plants shape our landscapes and our lives. From towering trees to delicate grasses, from cultivated gardens to wild growth along a roadside, botanicals mark the passage of time and season. They reach, unfurl, root, bloom, wither, and return. In their forms and cycles, we experience renewal, adaptation, fragility, and strength.

This exhibition seeks photographs that explore, experience, and celebrate the living expressions found in plant life. Submissions may range from expansive landscapes to close observational studies, from documentary realism to abstract or conceptual interpretations. Black and white or color, traditional or experimental approaches are welcome.

The cost to participate is $20 for 1 image, $30 for 2 images. The payment page will be available soon.
