This exhibition features NPG members’ work that explores light as an integral part of the scene. Photographers explored how the quality, direction, color, or absence of light shaped the photograph and contributed to its compelling power. Ordinary subjects, with extraordinary light, can be more powerful than an extraordinary subject in ordinary light.
