“It’s All About the Light”
Fall 2026-Spring 2027, Member Exhibit
Currently on exhibit at the Edward King House, 2nd Floor, Newport, RI
This exhibition invited photographers to explore light as an integral part of the scene - something that does more than simply illuminate the subject. Members explored how the quality, direction, color, or absence of light shaped the photograph and contributed to the image's power.
An ordinary subject, with extraordinary light, can be more powerful than an extraordinary subject in ordinary light.
