The 2025 Newport Photo Guild exhibit at the Newport Public Library will be on view from Sunday, March 2 through Saturday, April 26.

This year’s exhibit, In Focus (or not…) will celebrate the varied styles of the NPG photographers. Members are encouraged to submit a photograph that emphasizes either clarity or ambiguity or both! Chose a photo that highlights your vision with a “tack sharp” view of your subject or challenge perception with photographic images manipulated in camera or in processing. Any entries that are AI generated must be designated as digital art rather than photography.

The juror for this exhibit will be Jason Fong, Curator, South Coast Artists Association.

All 2024-2025 members are invited to submit 1 image by Saturday, February 22 for initial juror review and label creation. The submission fee will be $15.

Please follow the standard guidelines for submitting images and use the email subject line “NPL 2025.” Digital images are due on February 22nd by Midnight.

Framed intake is set for Saturday, March 1, 10am to 12pm at the Newport Public Library.

  The exhibit will be open to the public through Monday, April 28. You may pick up your image on April 28th 12:00-8:30 pm.
